pinereel is a premium pay-per-view platform built for independent creators. These guidelines help keep the community safe, fair, and focused on high-quality content.

Content You Can Publish

Original video content you created or have rights to distribute
Video essays, documentaries, short films, educational content, comedy specials, and other premium video formats
Content that is properly categorized with accurate titles, descriptions, and thumbnails
Content appropriate for a general audience, or clearly labeled if mature (but see restrictions below)

Prohibited Content

Sexually explicit or pornographic material
Content depicting, promoting, or facilitating child exploitation or abuse in any form
Content promoting terrorism, extremism, or organized violence
Graphic, gratuitous violence intended to shock rather than inform
Content that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
Content that facilitates illegal activity (drug manufacturing, weapons, fraud, etc.)
Doxxing, stalking, or non-consensual sharing of private information

Intellectual Property

Only upload content you own or have explicit permission to distribute
Do not re-upload others' content, even if it's publicly available elsewhere
Respect copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights
If you receive a copyright claim, respond promptly and in good faith

Fair Pricing & Honesty

Set prices that reflect the value and length of your content
Thumbnails and titles must accurately represent the video content
Do not use deceptive tactics to drive purchases (bait-and-switch, misleading previews)
Respect the rental/purchase duration you set — buyers expect access for the full period

Community Behavior

Reviews should be honest, constructive, and relevant to the content
Do not harass, threaten, or bully other users — whether creators or viewers
Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or manipulate reviews
Do not spam, self-promote in reviews, or misuse platform features

Reporting & Enforcement

Use the report button on any video that violates these guidelines
Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action within 48 hours
Violations may result in content removal, account warnings, or permanent bans
Severe violations (child safety, terrorism) result in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities
Repeat offenders face escalating consequences up to permanent account suspension

Creator Revenue & Payments

Creators earn 90% of every sale — earnings are transparently displayed to buyers
All payments are settled instantly — creators get paid the moment you buy
Banned creators forfeit access to upload new content but existing buyers retain their access
pinereel reserves the right to delist content that violates these guidelines
