Terms of Service

By creating an account, connecting a wallet, uploading content, or purchasing content on pinereel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use pinereel. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

pinereel is a pay-per-view video platform that allows creators to upload, price, and sell access to their video content. Payments are processed using USDC on the Solana blockchain. pinereel provides the infrastructure for content distribution and payment processing but does not produce, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any content on the platform.

• You must connect a Solana-compatible wallet to use pinereel. Your wallet address serves as your primary account identifier.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. pinereel cannot recover lost wallets or reverse blockchain transactions.
• You may create only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate reviews, or abuse platform features is prohibited.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use pinereel.

• You retain full ownership of all content you upload to pinereel. By uploading, you grant pinereel a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, distribute, transcode, and display your content on the platform.
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions for all content you upload, including video, audio, images, and text.
• You are responsible for setting prices for your content. pinereel enforces minimum pricing based on video duration to maintain content quality.
• Revenue splits are transparently displayed: creators earn 90% of every sale. pinereel retains 10% as a platform fee. Founding Creators receive a preferential split.
• Earnings are paid instantly in USDC to your connected wallet at the time of each sale. pinereel does not hold or escrow creator funds.
• You may unlist (soft-delete) your content at any time. Existing buyers retain access for the duration of their purchase. Content data is retained for payment and access history.
• Creators may permanently delete their videos at any time. Deleted content becomes unavailable to all viewers, including those who previously purchased access. pinereel is not responsible for refunds or compensation when a creator removes their content.

• All purchases are final. Due to the nature of digital content and instant blockchain settlement, refunds are not available once a transaction is confirmed on-chain.
• Access to purchased content is tied to the wallet address used at the time of purchase. You may not share, transfer, or resell access to purchased content.
• Rental durations are set by the creator and displayed before purchase. Access expires at the end of the rental period. Permanent purchases grant indefinite access, subject to continued availability of the content on the platform.
• Creators may delete their content at any time, which may result in loss of access to previously purchased videos. All purchases are final regardless of future content availability.
• You may not download, record, redistribute, or publicly display purchased content without explicit permission from the creator.

• All payments are processed on the Solana blockchain using USDC (USD Coin). You are responsible for ensuring your wallet has sufficient USDC and SOL (for transaction fees) before making a purchase.
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible. pinereel cannot reverse, cancel, or modify confirmed transactions.
• pinereel may provide a gas station service that funds small amounts of SOL for transaction fees. This service is provided at pinereel's discretion and may be limited or suspended at any time.
• Transaction fees (Solana network fees) are borne by the buyer. pinereel does not charge additional processing fees beyond the displayed revenue split.

• Uploading content that violates our Community Guidelines, including illegal, harmful, infringing, or deceptive content
• Attempting to circumvent payment requirements, access controls, or wallet-gating mechanisms
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform without prior authorization
• Interfering with or disrupting the platform, servers, or networks connected to pinereel
• Impersonating another person, creator, or entity
• Manipulating reviews, ratings, or view counts through fake accounts or coordinated behavior
• Sharing or extracting playback URLs, stream keys, or other technical access mechanisms

• pinereel reserves the right to remove, unlist, or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our sole discretion.
• Accounts that repeatedly violate our policies may be temporarily suspended or permanently banned.
• Banned users cannot upload new content or submit reports. Existing buyers of a banned creator's content retain their access.
• We may report illegal content or activity to law enforcement where required or appropriate.

pinereel respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on pinereel infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for takedown procedures.

The pinereel name, logo, and platform design are the property of pinereel. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

• pinereel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that content will always be available.
• pinereel is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of user-generated content.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, pinereel's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to pinereel (platform fees) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• pinereel is not liable for losses resulting from blockchain transactions, wallet security breaches, or cryptocurrency value fluctuations.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless pinereel, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

• You may stop using pinereel at any time. To close your account, simply disconnect your wallet and stop using the platform.
• pinereel may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Existing access grants for content you purchased remain valid for their duration.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of pinereel shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, unless prohibited by local law.
